Yale Russian Chorus To Perform At The Oldest Orthodox Church in Buffalo, NY

(BUFFALO, NY) Dec. 29, 2017 – On Monday, January 8th, 2018 at 7:00 PM, a world renown Yale Russian Chorus will perform a concert of sacred and folk choral masterpieces at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Buffalo, NY. The Concert will include music from from Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Macedonia, and Slovakia. 

Started in 1953, Yale Russain Chorus has performed concerts around the world. They were the first American group to perform behind the “Iron Curtain” during the “frigid years” of the “Cold War”. 

Prior their winter tour of New York state and Canada, the group reached out to Fr. Volodymy Zablotskyy, to see if they perform at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Buffalo, NY.

“I was overjoyed to hear from them! Because our church and it’s acoustics lends itself perfectly for a concert like this! We are very excited about the upcoming concert.” – said Fr. Zablotskyy.

There is no charge to attend the concert, but a free will offering will be greatly appreciated. Following the concert there will be refreshments in the parish social hall.
